What is your favorite part of photography? I love capturing that fun candid shot in between two poses on a photo shoot…..so natural and so fun!
What is your primary camera? The fabulous Canon 40D! She’s my baby!
What is your dream camera? I have plans of purchasing either the Canon 5d Mark II or 1d Mark IV in the very near future!!!
If you could travel to any place in the world to photograph, where would it be? I would love to travel to Paris for a sunset shoot! C'est Magnifique!
If you could photograph any event, past or present, what would it be, and why? Wow, that’s a tough one! I would pick either the birth of Jesus Christ, or the making of the very first camera! Totally different, I know! :)

Dog or Cat? I have 3 dogs....and 1 cat -- Miss Reesie just came and joined our little farm….and I LOVE that kitty :) But I would have to say dogs :)
Canon or Nikon? Canon! I mean, it’s the best! =D
Chocolate or Vanilla? Anyone who knows me could answer this question for me…..seeing that I eat some form of chocolate Every. Single. Day. Of. My. Life! I love a good organic 85% chocolate the best……but if I don’t have any on hand, I’ll go for Nutella…..have you tasted that stuff? =D
Coffee or Tea? Caramel decaf coffee in the morning…. or hot tea in the afternoon
Favorite Starbucks or Tea "fancy" drink? Grande White Chocolate Mocha With Peppermint Please!
Pizza or Health Food? Give me a healthy day (no junk food please!) and end it with chocolate and I’m happy!
Mild or Spicy? SPICY!!!! The more chilies and spice in my food the better!! I even put red pepper flakes in my spaghetti sauce -- makes an amazing spicy marinara! ahhhhhhh YUM! I did live my first 19 years in San Antonio TX, so how could I think differently.? :D

What is your primary computer? My little 13 inch MacBook Pro with 4 GB ram is my second ‘baby’!
How many years experience do you have? About 5 years...I think….maybe longer :) It’s been a part of my life for so long!
How did you get interested in photography? I have loved photography for as long as I can remember! My dad would document nearly every day with either his old 35mm film Canon SLR, or our video camera – so I kinda grew up with photography! I remember my very first ‘real’ camera… My parents purchased a Lumix digital camera, but no one in the family could figure out how to use it. I had always loved trying to figure things out, so my dad put the camera and instruction manual in my hands and said “see if you can figure it out”……from there I was hooked!

Favorite authors? Frances Ridley Havergal, E.D.E.N Southworth and Laura Ingalls Wilder – yall will see why later ;-)
Favorite music/artist? Steven Curtis Chapman and Bethany Dillon hands down!
Free piece of photography advice? The actual camera body is amazing, but it’s the LENSES and your personal eye that makes the perfect shot!
Best piece of equipment you own? I would have to say my card reader! Honestly! I have a super amazing portraiture lens, but I couldn’t shoot half as much without lots of memory cards, and my card reader! It took me WAY TOO long to make that purchase…..oh, and it saves your camera battery life! So that’s always a bonus!
Favorite editing software? Lightroom 2 and Photoshop Elements 6
What is your primary lens? On a portrait shoot, I mainly use my 70-200mm 2.8, but on an ordinary day, you will see me using my lil old 28-135!
What is your favorite lens? Canon 50mm 1.8 Here’s another photography tip – this $80 (as of January 2010) lens was the best lens purchase I ever made! Seriously, go get one …. now!
What is your favorite thing to photograph? My answer would have to be the same as Allie! “Engaged/married couples and babies” There is just something about them! Very addicting and fun to shoot!
